WEEK 1 - Pahuaja Thao

We may know that NDE is a near death experience where the level of consciousness higher than dreaming occurs when a person is close to death or in a physical and emotional state(Kumar Paul, Devnath, and Islam; “AN APPROACH TO PROVE THE EXISTENCE OF AFTER LIFE BY ANALYZING NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE’S DATA WITH MATHEMATICAL LOGIC” ). In this week’s reading, we read about NDE and the spirit realm. Though these two themes cannot be explained scientifically, in the readings, there was still an attempt to connect the spirit realm and NDE to science. Based on the first readings, “AN APPROACH TO PROVE THE EXISTENCE OF AFTER LIFE BY ANALYZING NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE’S DATA WITH MATHEMATICAL LOGIC” by Arindam Kumar Paul, Liton Devnath, and Md. Rafiqul Islam, NDE(near death experience) is analyzed through a formula. This formual proposed in the reading, is meant to help explain the relationship of consciousness and real life time and how it affects one another. In the other readings, it was about the Professor’s own NDE and based on what had happened to her before she experienced this event, we had made connections to other NDEs. Along with the Professor and those others who have experienced near death experiences, they have all gone under emotional distress before reaching this state. In one of the readings, the word soul from the spirit realm was not given a scientific definition, but through attempts, was given an hypothesized definition which is “an indefinite, non-structured, massless energy made up of electromagnetic radiations that is confined in the cytoskeletal network of a living cell”(Pereira and Reddy, “Near-Death Cases Desegregating Non-Locality/Disembodiment via Quantum Mediated Consciousness: An Extended Version of the Cell-Soul Pathway”).

Question:
Would NDE only happen to those who are undergoing stress physically and emotionally?
