In fact, I am not sensitive to supernatural phenomena.
I've experienced sleep paralysis, but today's medicine gives me a reasonable explanation. Although I was scared at that time, I dared not turn off the light for a long period of time. I learned more from the descriptions of people around me. Aa a matter of fact, my family culture was very complicated. My family was a Muslim family, but it was deeply influenced by Buddhism and Taoism. Therefore, my grandmother attached great importance to the traditions of these three religions.
In that year when I lost my father, my mother always told me that she saw my father in her dreams. He was wearing a white robe and had nothing to decorate. Since in Muslim tradition, the dead would be completely naked, without any decorative items, but wrapped in white robes for burial reasons. Even before the funeral, my father's wedding ring was taken down. Since the body was already hard, we had to cut the ring to remove it. My mother described my father’s appearance in the dream exactly the same as what he looked like when he was buried. Shortly afterward
, my cousin, who was only five years old, often said that he saw my father at his home and was wearing the same clothes. My cousin sometimes pointed to the sofa and said that my father was sitting on the sofa again. Because my father died at my cousin's house. My grandmother thought it was a manifestation of my father’s soul, and he was not willing to return to Allāh. In fact, many of my family members told me that they dreamed of my father, but I didn't know why. I never dreamed of him. But during that time, I often felt sleep paralysis. I thought it's because of the suppression. My grandmother said that my father was afraid to frighten me and wanted to protect me. It was also the first time that I felt uncertain about the existence of the soul. The photo is my cousin and the sofa.
