Week 8 - Thu Cao
Existing but does not exists; nonexistent but exists. People who believe in materialism use their senses to prove the existence. That means everything is considered to be exist should be able to touch, see, smell, feel, hear. They also explain metal aspects and consciousness are the results of material interactions. They support mind and consciousness are created or determined by the material. Now I raise the question in mind, so what defines material? How it was created? By itself? Or by Big Bang of the early universe? And that leads to our earth formation? So then, what creates that early universe? Another early universe? I don’t think so. Material can be broken apart or combined together to form another object called material, but not the soul. Matter is just the temporary place where the soul sticks in. Then now, can we touch our mind?. No, we can’t, but it does exist. Sometimes, people use material to explain about phenomena around and negate spirit. However, spirit world and material world have the connection that we cannot see. We can look around us, everything is operating logically in a trajectory. They were made complicatedly. The earth always cycles around the sun in its own orbit. It never goes wrong. How everything operate perfectly. I don’t think itself can be. There must be a very most high God who creates and operate everything. Who creates our spirit and our material world. The Big Bang of the universe cannot create those complicated things. I cannot accept the idea that the Big Bang could create the orbital the let the earth run on that precisely.
