In the article "New Age Commodification and Appropriation of Spirituality" by Michael York, the author proposes that with the weakening of traditional religion, the spirit has become more and more common in the new era. However, the problem is that the spirit has begun to become a public culture rather than a private one. With the discovery and change of society, people have mixed religion and spirit. I think this is not conducive to these two cultures because they are different. I am inquisitive about religion because I have done a speech about Satanism. This speech is about clarifying some facts about Satanism. It is not a bad religion. I think that Satanism is more in line with my personal belief than Christianity.
