Feuy Saephan - Week 2

Our physical bodies are placed on this earth with a conscious that performs perplexing actions.  Many of these actions are not able to be entirely explained, such as why humans have dreams, or in this case, non-local consciousness or disembodiment.  They are intriguing phenomenons because of the extensive amount of explanations with not one correct answer.  In the article by Pereira and Reddy, they provide living proof experiences and possible scientific ways to support their claim of how non-local disembodiment is real.

The state of being disembodied is an experience foreign to the average human being, but there are also several individuals who have gone through this experience.  These occurrences are usually triggered by near-death situations.  When people encounter non-local disembodiment, they are able to form clear memories while they are not necessarily inside their body.  It is explained as if there is a cell soul pathway using “electromagnetic energy in the form of photons to promulgate consciousness in a living cell” (Pereira & Reddy pg. 953).  The memories are then carried inside their consciousness to be remembered when they return back to their body.

We live in a universe full of mystery.  Humans will go far and wide to find concrete evidence of why these exist, also, of why human beings co-exist with these mysteries.  It is difficult to find answers to out-of-body experiences, especially if we try to reason it with science.  Spiritual realms are a state of feeling and manifesting of one’s own energy from within.  There is no way to measure it through a system that solely focuses on our physical world.

What are the main practices that shamans, mediums, etc. utilize to help them connect with the spiritual world?
