Week 7- Erin Yen
This week’s theme is about “Science Catches
Up to the Spirit Realm.” The only require reading is “The American Scholar: A
New Theory of the Universe” by Robert Lanza. There are things that has been
explained from science such as time, space, science, from physics, chemistry
and biology, etc. However, there are things such as spirit that cannot be explained
even though time and space and spirit are not objective. I remember when I once
took a physical science course at community college and I asked the professor
why do I have to take science class, and the professor told be “Because
everything is science.” Personally, I believe science and spiritual realm are
very different topics. Science is about observation while a lot of the spiritual
things might not be able to be earthly observed. The definition of faith is believing
without knowing. This contradicts the concept of discussing science and spiritual
realm together. I really enjoy taking this spirit realm class because it is a
course not just learn from professor, it is a course that everybody shares and discuss
anything on this earth.
Questions: Do you believe everything
spiritual can be scientifically proved?
