Week 1 - Diane Tran

During first period P.E. in high school, my classmates and I saw a body in the deep end of the large pool as we took off the tarp covers. At first, we thought it was a prank since seniors usually plan a prank before they graduate high school. We then turn to find that it was a real dead man's body facing downward at the bottom of the pool. He had weights tied to his legs and arms. The school shut down for the rest of the day and there were news reporters on campus. It was announced that he was a prior alumni from PHHS, went to MIT, and committed suicide. 

Within the same day, the school drained out the chlorine water and took out the body. They also cleaned the pool and put in new pool water. The next day, we still continued to have swim practice even though of what happened the day prior. My friends and I were changed in our swimsuits, but as we were on deck we all felt this eerie feeling of a presence that was there among us. We all quickly ran back to the lockers because we did not feel that it was right to swim in a pool when a body was recently found there. When we were in the lockers something slammed both doors and I remember how scared I was. My friends and I believed it was the spirit of the student who just recently passed away. We did not go to practice until a whole week past.
