In the article "Spiritual Healing Practices Among Rural Postpartum Thai Women" by Prangthip Thasanoh Elter, Holly Powell Kennedy, Catherine A. Chesla and Susanha Yimyam, the authors propose a cure for the mental and physical rehabilitation of Thai women after childbirth. I am curious and afraid of the production of women. I am curious because women can breed life. I feel fear because of the pain and tears caused by the production. On the other hand, Thai women are banned from eating certain foods after production because the Thai people think it will harm the body. I think this is somewhat related to traditional Chinese culture. In China, women are prohibited from eating salty, spicy, and seafood after production. These foods believed to damage women's recovery and healing. On the other hand, Chinese women are forbidden to take a bath after production because it is not conducive to wound healing. However, I think it is necessary to judge whether it is possible to take a bath based on the ability and condition of the individual's body healing. I chose this picture because most Chinese think that soup is good for the body and good for body healing. In fact, soup can help the stomach to digest and let the body absorb nutrients better.
