Week 7 Christian Ho

With science playing a major role in shaping the minds of people into what they believe in now, spirituality has a little role to play. However, as the two articles explain how there is a need to take a step back and look at what spirituality has to offer in terms of answers that science cannot answer. That both science and spirituality should work with one another to create a better experience of the world because once spirituality is embraced then people will better understand what their life is all about. There are some questions that just cannot be answered by science no matter how much science continues to learn and do research about individuals. The articles have more of a different tone in approaching the subject as the Joan Walton is more passive in approaching the unity between the two while for Robert Lanza goes for a more negative tone regarding the matter. In Lanza’s article he goes for how much science has gotten in the way of allowing us individuals from understanding the world fully, by explaining how science fools us from the truth and us for allowing it to happen. That no matter what there will be aspects of life science cannot answer, and that is why there is a need to introduce the other world to better understand what science cannot comprehend.
