The author of the Research article "2014 Insight Medical Publishing Group Rural Jordanian Mothers' Beliefs, Knowledge and Practices of Postnatal Care" discusses the relationship between birth and death and faith. In particular, for the health of babies, every culture has its own way to protect babies. This reminds me of some of the traditional in my hometown. For example, a pregnant woman with a round belly will have a girl and a not round belly will have a boy. Q：How should we stop the traditional customs that are dangerous?
There is a custom in India that throws a newborn baby to the sky and catches it (about10-15 meters). If you catch it, it means that the baby is blessed. This ritual is very dangerous. If you are not careful, you may hurt your child. The government has banned this ritual, but it cannot be stopped in the countryside.
