The author of "A New Theory of the Universe” Robert Lanza has mentioned quantum physics and a new theory. So I am more focused on consciousness and perception. The author mentioned：Cogito, ergo sum.” (I think, therefore I am.) I think the article focus on human subjective consciousness. I think that the individual's Consciousness determines our perception of the universe. Like author mentioned “Subjective sense of understanding of the universe” 

Personally, I think that consciousness is the soul. Although we cannot prove the existence of the soul through science. But I believe that if we have the soul and the soul can continue to exist after death, our consciousness will be accompanied by the soul.

As we know, billions of neurons in each person's brain work together in some way. They create every conscious experience. And this is not an arbitrary conscious experience, but it is just the conscious experience of your place here and now. As we know, there are five kinds of perceptions： Vision, Sound, Touch, Taste, and Smell. These perceptions told us what is Reality, Space and Time.

The author mentions our measurement of time and does not prove the existence of time. So what are the hours, minutes, seconds, etc. we use?
