Feixiao Xin – Week 1

This is a picture that touches me most in this global crisis. The medical staffs are angels. They donate their lives very selflessly no matter in peace time or when disaster strikes. When everyone is afraid of the virus and staying away from the virus, they rush forward without hesitation and save the patients who have been infected by the virus. They are rescuing the lives of others and bringing more hope and beauty to this world. The noble qualities of medical staff are what we need to learn and respect.

The second thing I learn from this event is that when faced with catastrophes and disasters, we can find that the tertiary service industry is very fragile and vulnerable. Maintaining the normal life of the people depends on the primary industry. Therefore, for a country, when developing a service industry, it also needs to maintain its own primary industry.

I expect to learn more knowledge about the history of Asian Americans and their culture, beliefs and spirits after I finish this course.

Finally, I want to know if the pandemic cannot end in a short period of time, then what can be done to maintain normal production and life, and how to protect the basic income of people who depend on the tourism service industry to live.
