I never heard about a near death experience until this class. Growing up in a christian home I was always told that when one dies you either go to hell or heaven and to be frankly, I didn't believe in either because how can it be proven. Religion has always played a part in how to view death in my opinion. In the article ""An Approach to Prove The Existence of After Life By Analyzing Near death Experience's Data With Mathematical Logic", a near death experience is describes it in the sense of science and equations. Looking at death as a math equation has really open my mind to look at life in a different perspective but also I have found very confusing because I have never really seen spirituality and science parallel to one another. In psychology many theories have been back up by a lot of data and evidence and when it comes to this topic, I would say we have a lot of researching to do. The article actually has a section of an explanation of afterlife. I have found this reading and professor Valverde experience very shocking because it's something that's very new for me to intake. I never thought much about death or after death in general just because I don't really like to. There is just some things that science has yet to prove and work on especially within the topic of spirituality. Although, looking at the perspective of how math can play a key part in everything that surrounds our life even when we don't think about is amazing. The video we saw in class that discussed the plant of life that relates to the art of Leonardo Devinci but also how it's broken down with numbers, has made me gain a new perspective upon the observation that we don't seem to pay attention to. It seems as if everything in our lives is connected even when we don't want to believe it. I believe though, we still have a lot of research to conduct upon the way death can be seen through science. Sometimes I feel like we blinds ourselves through others perspectives rather than opening up to what can be or how the universe speaks to us in a unique way. In other words, I believe sometimes we have to detach ourselves from our every day believes in order to understand the unknown.Question: What are some ways that you look believe we are connected and do you think that the math equation in the article actually works?
