Tiffany Yang - Week 1

Week 1
Coronavirus Reflection
It still feels like a dream. I remember the first time walking into a grocery store when I first got back from Davis. The aisles were completely empty and it reminded me of a scene in the movie Birdbox where a group of people came into an abandoned grocery store. They were hogging everything they could. I'm very blessed to not be worried about the financial burdens that the other millions of people have as a result of this crisis. The biggest thing that I've learned about this pandemic so far is how many things I'm grateful for like my family relationships, financial stability, and technology. I'm also an avid gym-goer and I've also learned how attached my identity is to the gym, and I've been learning how to find new hobbies to find fulfillment and satisfaction in life. I feel like this class will give me a lot of lessons that apply to my daily life and I'm excited to learn more about my spirituality. I feel like there is so much information about religion, spirituality and about the universe's teachings. I hope that this class will teach me how to be calm in times of stress and to see life as a beautiful big picture. How do we find peace in not knowing the future of our lives and how do we live knowing that?
