Yiran Ma - Week 7
Yiran Ma - Week 7
After I read the
“My Mother not My Mother” by Kieu Linh Caroline Valverde. The story talked
about a child who have mom, but in his mind, his mind is like not there. What
his mom did, just break his heart. Even though his mom is still here, he just thinks
there is no mom in this world for him. It let me remember a great sentence: “Some
people live. He was dead. Some people die. He is still alive. I thought that some
people live but die -- their bodies are alive, although the body has always
existed, but their inner dirty but eroded the soul, lost the human nature,
empty a bottle of body, essentially the soul is dead, and no difference between
the dead! While some people die and live -- contrary to the previous
description, some people die, but only their bodies die, but their minds,
wills, souls have a profound impact on others, truly achieve immortality. If in
this world there is nothing that make you feel worry about, so live or not
maybe not a big deal. People live in this world must have something that can
carry them on, if that thing is gone, dies will not be a problem anymore.
Question:
How to stay awake in the face of extreme disappointment?
